4-Way Stretch

All Vissla boardshorts are constructed with 4-way stretch fabrics.

Hemp

Recycled polyester makes use of existing plastic. Made from discarded plastic bottles, it reduces our dependence on petroleum as a raw material, diverts used plastic from landfills and decreases toxic emissions from incinerators. It can be continuously recycled without quality degradation, promoting new recycling streams for polyester clothing that is no longer wearable.

Embroidered Trims

All trims are embroidered to the fabric for a clean finish and to last longer.

Triple Needle Stitching

Triple needle side seams and front, back rise.

Soft Thread

Swim floss thread for comfort and prevents leg rash.

HIGH IQ Repel

In the past, water-repellant fabrics were treated with chemicals known as PFCs and Fluorocarbons to help prevent surface saturation into the fabrics. The problem is that as these chemicals are released from the fabrics over time they have been shown to harm the living organisms they come into contact with, affecting reproduction and hormone systems. Vissla has chosen to move to 100% PFC and Fluorocarbon-free DWR water repellant coating for our boardshorts.

Tethered Waistband

Tethered waistband for a comfortable tight fit and keeps it on your waist in bigger waves.
